Who operates Yours

Your journal and account
Journal text, images, folder registrations and preferences remain on your Mac. They are not sent to our account or billing services. Convex stores your verified email, authentication sessions, short-lived verification records, abuse-prevention limits, and a link between your Yours account and Dodo customer ID. Dodo Payments holds purchases and current access grants. Vercel checks that access and issues signed receipts for up to 14 days of offline use. Your Mac stores its sign-in credential in Keychain. Signing out, switching accounts or losing paid access does not delete journal files.
App usage analytics
Usage analytics are enabled by default and cannot be disabled in app settings. PostHog receives explicit events for app installation/opening, account sign-in, and successful journal or entry creation, with a random installation ID, app version, platform, and architecture. We do not send journal text, images, titles, file paths, entry IDs, email addresses, or Yours accounts. We do not record your screen or use automatic interaction capture. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of complete anonymity; network services can receive connection information such as an IP address.
Website analytics
DataFast measures public website visits, purchase-link clicks, downloads, and confirmed sales. Its visitor/session cookies support attribution to referral sources. We pass the visitor identifier to checkout and report payment ID, amount, and currency for Yours sales. Private purchase-confirmation pages are excluded from tracking. Our revenue integration does not send your name, email, or Yours account to DataFast.
Purchases and emails
Dodo Payments is our merchant of record and processes payment, billing, tax, receipts, and purchase access under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Amazon SES delivers sign-in codes, purchase instructions and a check-in five days after purchase. Reply if you need help or want us to stop further support follow-ups.
Service providers and your requests
Hosting and releases use Vercel, Cloudflare R2, and GitHub. These services, Convex, Dodo Payments, Amazon SES, DataFast, and PostHog may process data in countries other than yours. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of data we control. Some transaction records must be retained for accounting, disputes, or legal obligations. Delete local application data and your chosen journal files separately when you no longer want them; uninstalling Yours does not delete your journals.
Upcoming features
Built-in AI and optional cloud backup are not part of the current app. We will update this policy before introducing new data handling.
