About Yours

Purchase and early access
Yours for Mac is a one-time purchase for all your personal Macs. The current price is US$5. This is an early-access price; the regular price is US$49.99. Early access has no fixed end date. Applicable taxes and any currency conversion are shown at checkout. Ending early access does not change an existing purchaser’s licence or create a subscription.
Your licence
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Yours on all your personal Macs through one verified Yours account. The account is for your personal use and must not be shared or resold. Internet access is required to sign in and periodically confirm ownership; offline access lasts up to 14 days after a successful check. A refunded or revoked licence no longer grants app access. Your journal files remain yours and can be opened with other compatible tools.
Refunds
We offer a full refund when requested within seven days of purchase. Email us using your purchase email address and receipt reference. Refunds are processed through Dodo Payments and revoke the associated app licence. This voluntary policy does not restrict any mandatory consumer rights.
Your files and backups
You own your journal content. Yours stores readable files on your Mac and does not provide encryption or a backup service. Keep backups appropriate to your needs. We do not require permission to publish or reuse your private writing.
Early-access software and support
Early-access software may contain bugs and change over time. We provide support by email without a guaranteed response time. AI and optional cloud backup are upcoming features, not included services or promises of a release date. Optional future cloud services may have separate charges; your existing journalling licence remains a one-time purchase.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep Yours reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted online services or compatibility with every future operating-system version. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is supplied as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and applicable law
Our Privacy Policy explains licensing, default-enabled usage analytics, and purchase emails. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, subject to mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence. Material changes to these terms will be published here; the price paid for an existing licence does not change retroactively.
